Air is the second installment of my Elemental Series.

This element was created using black, blue and shades of gray pigmented india inks.

I used a swooping motion paired with the gradients of gray to create a flow like that of a storm cloud

Each pop of blue - a glimpse of a promised sky after the storm.

The Element of Air

It is associated with the East, Spring, yellow and other pastel colors on the physical plane.

Air represents the mind, intellect, consciousness, study and communication .

Mountaintops, plains and cloudy skies, are all manifestations of the element of air.

Birds, insects and other flying creatures are thought to personify the element of air.
