With this series it was my goal to capture each of the sacred Elements using color and movement.

Each Element was created in free form using only pigmented india inks on acid free paper.

What does free form mean?

Free form means that there were no pre-penciled lines or preconcieved ideas before the ink touched the surface.

Each piece was created "of the moment" capturing who I was and what I was feeling at the time.

I wanted to keep each piece in the series true to my emotion troughout its creation. With that in mind, I made the decision to keep the dimensions small, so, each element measures roughly 5" x 7".
